Customer is the body who has booked and paid for the tour via Sommai Fishing Tour official website or official Facebook Page.
Tour operator (Sommai Fishing Tour) is the body who is responsible for the tour and who is organizing and operating the tour and hotel transfer. The tour operator has the legal responsibility towards the customer.
Customer Cancellation
All tours must be cancelled by e-mail to contact@sommaifishingtour.com. A confirmation of the cancellation will be sent to the customer by e-mail.
- Cancellations made 72 hours before a trip will not be subject to any charges.
- Cancellations made 48 hours before a trip will be subject to a charge of 50%.
- Cancellations made 24 hours before a trip will be subject to a charge of 100%.
Refunds may take up to 7 days for the money to reach the customer's bank account.
Tour Operator Cancellation
Should the tour operator cancel the tour anytime prior to the tour, the customer will be offered the tour on another day or offered a 100% refund of the purchase price or deposit (if only deposit payment was made).
Tour operator has the right to cancel the tour if the customer fails to complete payment (full deposit payment for charter tour, full payment for join-in fishing tour) latest 72 hours before the tour, to which payment has to be done through Sommai Fishing Tour Stripe Payment Channel only.
For charter tours, should customer be unable to pay full remaining amount by cash or Stripe Payment Channel before boarding the boat charter, the Tour Operator has to right to cancel the trip and keep 100% of the deposit.
Customer Change
Most changes to a charter tour (date, small itinerary adjustments etc) are free of charge and must be communicated via e-mail latest 24 hours before the tour.
Tour Operator Change
Tour itinerary and pickup/drop off times are approximate and might change depending on how much time is left on the tour or based on weather/sea conditions.
If total customers booked on a Join-In Tour does not reach a minimum of 8 people, the Tour Operator might use a partner Tour Operator instead.
1. Should the customer not be present for pick-up at the place and time specified in the confirmation email, or does not go on the tour for other reasons, no refund is applicable no matter the reason (including medical reasons) and any claims need to be submitted by the customer to the customer's travel insurance company.
2. Should the customer choose to provide own transportation to the tour, a map will be attached to the confirmation email and a latest arrival time will be specified. In the case of failure to arrive at the specified location at the latest arrival time and the tour cannot be provided, no refund is applicable.
3. Should the tour operator fail to pick-up the customer, the customer must contact us (contact@sommaifishingtour.com or Facebook messenger) no later than 30 minutes after the specified pick-up time. Should the tour operator claim that they were at the place and time specified in the confirmation email and we have not received such a email or chat message from the customer no refund is applicable.
1. Any claims in regards to a tour/trip must be communicated by e-mail by the customer not more than 10 days after the tour date.
2. Any personal incident/inconvenience caused by tour operator that may lead to a claim must be reported to Sommai Fishing Tour at the time of occurrence by contacting us (contact@sommaifishingtour.com or Facebook messenger).
3. Any refund due to an incident/inconvenience that has been fulfilled by paragraph 1 and 2 can only be granted if the incident/inconvenience is verifiable by us, the tour operator agrees to grant a refund.
4. Any refund due to an incident/inconvenience can only be given if such incident/inconvenience was caused by us, the tour operator.
5. Any refund will be paid back in the same way as the tour was paid for.
1. After booking and deposit payment of a tour, the customer will receive a confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours to the e-mail address specified by the customer at the time of booking. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to check that such an e-mail has been received and contact us (contact@sommaifishingtour.com or Facebook messenger) immediately if it has not been received.
2. Any refusal to pay transfer fee and national park fee claiming that such information was not specified on the website or that a tour confirmation with such payment information has not been received will result in refusal to participate in the tour and transportation back to the customer's hotel will be born entirely by the customer and no refund of the tour payment will be granted.
3. The above is also applicable for cancellation and changes to a tour requested by the customer as an updated confirmation email will be sent to the customer.
1. After booking and full payment, the customer will receive a confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours to the e-mail address specified by the customer at the time of booking. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to check that such an e-mail has been received and contact us (contact@sommaifishingtour.com or Facebook messenger) immediately if it has not been received.
1. After a booking has been processed and approved by us, the customer will receive a link to pay a deposit of 5,000 THB. Said link will be sent to the email provided in the booking. The customer has to pay the full deposit via Sommai Fishing Tour Stripe Payment Channel only. The Tour Operator has the right to cancel a booking if the deposit has not been paid 72 hours before booked trip date.
2. The remaining amount has to be paid on the day of the trip prior to boarding the boat charter, at Chalong Pier. The customer has to pay with cash (THB only) or using card via Sommai Fishing Tour Stripe Payment Channel.
If customer is unable to pay full remaining amount before boarding, the Tour Operator has to right to cancel the trip and keep 100% of the deposit.
1. After booking, the customer will receive a link to Sommai Fishing Tour Stripe Payment Channel to pay full amount for the trip.
2. If customer is unable to pay full amount of join-in tour 72 hours prior to trip date, the Tour Operator has the right to cancel the trip.
Due to safety of both woman and child, pregnant women are not allowed on any tour. Should the tour operator refuse access to the tour due to pregnancy, no refund is applicable.
Children under 1 years old and persons over 70 years old are not allowed on any tour. Should the tour operator refuse access to the tour due to the age limits, no refund is applicable.
Any National Park fees, docking fees or island admission fees are paid by the customer to the park/island ranger directly and no refund is applicable.
The tour program is subject to change dependent on weather and sea conditions. In such a case no compensation is applicable. Customer will be notified in the morning of tour by email and asked to either change the date or accept a refund of 100% of purchase price or deposit (if only deposit payment was made).
Sommai Fishing Tour will not offer any refund at all to anybody whom we found has been trying to get a refund in a fraudelent or abusive manner.
Jigging and popping fishing techniques cost an additional 3000 THB per day and are only offered on medium-large class boats. Availability depends on our pro fisher, be sure to request at least 48 hours in advance of tour.
Sommai Fishing Tour cannot guarantee the amount/type of fish that will be caught during the tour.
Sommai Fishing Tour has the right to change boat depending on boat's availability without prior notice.
Sommai Fishing Tour has the right to use a partner Tour Operator for Join-In Tours if total customers booked for a trip hasn't reached a min. of 8 people, without prior notice.
